Muki Hotate refers to Japanese scallops that have been removed from the shell, cleaned and arranged on a tray for packaging. Muki Hotate is sashimi grade scallops and have never been frozen.
Best consumed raw as sashimi, these scallops have a firmer texture compared to frozen sashimi grade scallops. If you are a shellfish lover. These scallops are caught from the extremely cold kelp rich waters of Hokkaido ensuring its sweet, umami and firm texture.
